Where did all the 7-11 stores go in the South? Seriously, I'm asking. It used to be the only convience store around now I never see them.

I've been wondering that as well. I live in Austin and there are maybe three left in the entire city. Texas isn't exactly part of the South, but 7-11 stores were everywhere when I was a kid (in the 80's), and now it's all TigerMarkets.

Long live the Squishee...uh, I mean Slurpee.

Yeah, that's a good point. None of these new generations of stores have Slurpees or a non trademarked equivalent. What the hell is going on with the world when people don't want Slurpees?
