My vote is for Sean's clip being the more useless. The tray could be called a platter or plate or... A clip is basically a clip.

My vote is for "tray." Without closer examination, you'd never know if the clip was a magnetic clip or just a regular clip. So the label actually does provide some valuable information. The tray however has no moving parts and could hardly be mistaken for anything except a tray. The only potentially useful part of the tray's label is that it's slightly raised, so blind people might be able to distinguish it from a toilet seat.

Just for clarification, the clip is magically connected to the refrigerator. Or you could call it, you know, magnetic.
