Great Pants, Meet Great Website

Posted 19 weeks ago by Jimmy C

My new Christmas slacks (thanks Mom) scored a complement on New Years Eve. I'm returning the favor and complementing the quality of the pants, the design of the company's website, and their excellent marketing ideas. You have to check out these marketing videos and print ads, very funny stuff.

The new Haggar pants are so sharp looking that even the inside of the pants are worth mentioning. The inside waistband and pockets are all trimmed out in nice burnt orange fabric and there's a Q stitched into the zipper area. Great marketing idea, as it got me searching for what the Q represents?

I've become so familiar with gimmicky marketing that I generally tune out all such efforts. Haggar not only got my attention via the quality of product, but also with their delivery of "the message".

I remembered being similarly impressed with the quality of the buttons on the Southern Tide Skipjack Polos we had around the office when Evan was shooting some photos. Similar quality, similar market...me thinks there are some lessons to be learned here.
