Oh good God no. You are smarter than this MIT. Friendly robots can turn into unfriendly robots real quick. Self aware robots must be stopped.

I doubt their friendliness, nothing that creepy looking is friendly, I believe the description that the article was looking for was "psycotic sadistic killbots." They give me the willies.
