Clemson, Cliffs idea: 'greener' golf courses
The Cliffs Communities and Clemson University on Thursday announced a partnership to create a center to develop environmentally sensitive ways to build and manage golf courses.
The Cliffs will give Clemson $250,000 over three years and build a $100,000 research center at a Cliffs site in northern Greenville County, said Jim Anthony, president and founder of luxury mountain home and golf course developments.
