A summer or so ago during a cook-out, Evan was reveling over the brilliance of the electric guitar and how it was the last great music invention. I then responded, "What about the synthesizer?" Maybe this, "American-style pale ale with distinctive notes of caramel and pine" will help me change his mind.
Bob Moog, the inventor of the most popular synthesizer of all time, and his foundation in partnership with the Asheville Brewing Company are hosting Moogus Operandi on May 27th at the Orange Peel. To learn more about the event, there's a really great article on the Bob Moog Foundation site.
Now, if you really want to impress Evan for his birthday, be sure to run up to Asheville and grab a 22 ouncer... or save it and make a pronounced appearance at the upcoming beer tasting. I kind of want to get a bottle just for the label.
