Put on your reading boots. This is a long article but worth the read. Paul Haggis vs. the Church of Scientology is a great New Yorker piece that attempts to explain how rational people might become interested in Scientology. It's interesting, informative, scary, weird, and funny all at once. For those of you, like me, that only really know what South Park told us about Scientology this goes to the next level while showing more respect to the subject matter.
