That's funny, I don't remember getting the invite.

Ask Joe about that. I think Bear or Brad asked where you were and I remarked on how nice it was when you would play and deliver sarcastic remarks for everyone's picks. Who can forget John Huston?

That aside you have a couple things going against you:

  1. The last time you could fit the draft to your schedule it was 2003 and Stephen Leaney was about to become a household name.
  2. You won seemingly ever time you participated.
  3. When Joe's in charge it's a race to a quorum. If the first 5 people he calls say yes, he doesn't call the 6th person in his phone book.
    1. All that aside, I miss you. Not just at the draft events, but in the often ludicrous email discussion threads that ensue. There's talk of making next year's draft bigger and better and incorporating a cumulative scoring system in addition to the regular method. We need you around for that and to help examine the numbers to make sure it's all fair. With more on the line I think it's important to have someone that knows wtf they're doing looking into the math.

You live in Delaware.

Congrats on popping the big questions. Maybe once you're hitched you can find a nice job down here and come up with funny ways to say, "Jeev Milkha Singh"

I'd rather just pass the potatoes
