PostSecret: The Book

Posted 5 years ago by Bear

PostSecert is this great website that post postcards from people all over the world. Each postcard has a secret that the keeper can only share via a postcard. I love almost every postcard. Some are funny, some are heartbreaking and most are worth the 10 seconds to read.

For the longest time I thought post secert was one of those great sites and experiments that only the web allows. It connected everyone, but kept everyone anonymous. It was viral and fun and creative and simple all at the same time.

I guess a book was inevitable. I just kind of wish it didn't happen. Not because I don't want this to be successful or even profitable. It just seemed like the perfect website to me and it didn't need to be any more or less. No matter, it's in print. Feel free to buy one if you'd like. It won't hurt my feelings.

I gave the book to one of my friends last Christmas. He and his wife said it was their favorite gift of the season.

As long as the project continues, the book(s) will be a nice extension of it.

I discovered that site exactly a year ago today. Interesting.
