I've got one for "tired" - As a one legged man in ass-kicking contest. I've gone one for "nervous" - As a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs. But I don't have one for "busy." So, if you've got one, please end this simile for me, "I'm busy as a..."
Just read another I liked,
...as a beer vendor at an Irish pride parade.
Busy as a whore at a gangbang?
(I'm totally never running for office.)
Busier than a cranberry merchant. Busier than a one-armed man hanging wallpaper.
Cranberry merchant eh? I haven't heard that in years. Got me wondering where that came from. In the process I stumbled on several more:
I've run across 'a one legged man in ass kicking contest' for busy a couple of times. I don't understand why you are more busy than a two legged man. Yes, you only have one leg and will it take more energy for to compete in this contest but does this really make you more busy. If anything you are less busy-- but tired afterwards.
Now, busy as a three legged man or even as a spider I can get behind, but one legged just doesn't make any sense.

A quick Google search of 'Im busy as a' provided me couple. Including,
...as a beaver (Don't like)
...as a bee (hate) and
...as a kleenex at a snot party (which is the leader in clubhouse).
But it isn't perfect. Give me a better one, please.
