Stop motion work flow

Posted 7 weeks ago by Bear

The folks at Carsonified put together a nice little stop motion video of a day at work. I had grand plans of doing something similar during one of our first OCHFWD's but decided against it on work versus reward basis. After seeing this video I'm doubly glad I didn't do it. I didn't think about capturing the screens as well as the people and it wouldn't have been much to look at without the screens.

I'm not sure about Windows, but Mac has a free app to take screenshots automatically at a set time interval. I'm sure you could find/develop something to do the same with the built-in iSight to get the office shot. (I think you can do both of these from the command line, so just cron it up). Import, cull, and set up the music in iVideo. Should be a reasonable time input/output.

On another note, nice job Carsonified on picking MGMT's Time to Pretend, a Chipper-Demon approved selection from January's Josie Bob: Balls and Boobs.
