Billionaire oilman T. Boone Pickens recently announcing that he's spending $2 billion to build a 667 wind turbine-strong wind farm in Texas.

Ah now THIS is awesome. My dad was a turbine engineer, and I've been researching residential wind power to hopefully move out west, and work with him to develop some kind of economic standard to power homes with their own modular turbines.
