The 10 greatest point guards ever
I find it hard to believe that Jason Kidd is on the list and not Allen Iverson. I know Iverson gets a bad rap and shoots the ball a lot, but you can't deny that he is one of the best PGs ever. Top 10, I don't know, but I don't think Jason Kidd is top ten if AI isn't.
By the way, Steve Nash is unreal.
I am not sure what happend to the people making this list but growing up in Charlotte and seeing the magic that is Mugsy Bogus, I am shocked and/or appalled that he is not on this list. I mean come on, this guy once ran under Patrick Ewing in a game, can dunk a tennis ball and he has 10 or 11 illegitimate children from all different women. People he is only 3'6" tall, how can he not be the greatest PG. Plus he is a huge fat jerk in person, this is what the NBA is all about. He is the preeminent point gaurd of my life time
RE: No AI
I'd replace Gary Payton with AI over taking Jason Kidd off the list.
Can you imagine what Jason Kidd would have done if he could have thrown the ball into pre-Real Fat Shawn Kemp.
I think a set play would have been just an alley oop (alley oop is terrible looking word when written) from half court. They could have run that play 10 times a game and it would have been unstoppable.
Like he did with Kenyon Martin???
And Iverson has always had.....um.....no one to throw to.
You aren't comparing Kenyon Martin to Shawn Kemp in his prime are you? Two different leagues.
AI is baller no doubt, I'd would even put him the top 10 but don't say that he didn't pass because he had no one to pass to. I'm pretty sure if he Karl Malone as PF and Shaq as his center he'd still shot more than most guards.
