We first met Michael Allen when he walked into the World Headquarters a couple of years ago, hat in hand, looking for a job. We weren't ready for a full time guy at the time, but we kept in touch and he did some freelance work for us. And over the last couple of years he has impressed us both with his design taste and his talent for writing great front end code. In fact, without prompting, several people we know and respect have praised Michael's coding talent.
Michael's ambition (walking into an office asking for a job takes a pair), his talent, and his want to be part of a web team made it an easy decision for us when we were looking our next team member.
It has been a exciting and productive first two weeks for all involved and we feel very confidant that our product going forward is going to be even better.
2007, you might be kicking our butts right now, but we got a team forming that is ready to fight back.
I think the comment was they have Corona Light, the Light is the key to the scorn and ridicule.
Congratulations to Bear and Evan, and my condolences Mr. Allen.
Shouldn't it be "were three"? This is the last time I let you write a headline Bear.
I don't know of what you speak. It reads were to me.
I wuznt gonna say nuthin 'bout the grammar, but I reckn' it looks better now.
Corona Light... right. Nectar of the gods, that one.
What's a Jedi?
Anyway, congrats to Orange Coat
Congrats, guys!
That's pretty funny CTown...you know what a Jedi is......Joe has been trainning them for years
Evan................Joe = Yoda
To bring the world in on the joke, Evan and I have two friends that have actually never seen Star Wars. Never, none of the six movies. Never.
It still boggles the mind. C-Town is one- Joe is the other.
The Joe=Yoda, wayyyy too long of story.
Not really....basically a drunk girl called our friend Joe, Yoda. Joe, never seeing Star Wars, had no idea what she was talking about.
So not only were we laughing that she called him Yoda, but he had no idea what the insult meant, so it was even funnier.
Suddenly I don't feel so bad about never seeing Dances with Wolves, Gone with the Wind, Miracle on 34th Street, the list goes on....

Design Ninjas vs. Design Jedi... Tough call.
And BTW, don't think I didn't hear your "hey, they have Corona over there" comment the other night. I have ears like a mongoose.
