Clutch Hitters

Shocking to no one, no Brave makes the list of the top 25 clutch hitters in the last 25 years.

I stand a little bit corrected. Darrell Evans was a Brave and is on the list. In fact, one of best memories of the bad Brave days was going to see the Braves play a couple of games down in Fulton County Stadium with old George R. and Darrell Evans was batting clean up (or fifth) behind Murphy and during two straight at bats Evans, a dead pull hitter, punch the ball to left field against the shift for doubles. Murphy was on base ahead of him both times.

That was great, smart baseball and so un-1980's Braves it still sticks out in my mind almost 20 years later.
