Shocking to no one, no Brave makes the list of the top 25 clutch hitters in the last 25 years.
I stand somewhat corrected. Darrell Evans was a Brave and he is on the list. In fact, one of my best bad Brave days memories is watching a game down at Fulton County stadium with George R. Evans was batting behind Murphy either clean up or fifth. For two straight plate apperances Evans, a dead pull hitter, punched the ball the other way for easy doubles.
That was such great, smart baseball and so un-1980's Braves that it still sticks out in my mind almost 20 years later.

In fact, one of best memories of the bad Brave days was going to see the Braves play a couple of games down in Fulton County Stadium with old George R. and Darrell Evans was batting clean up (or fifth) behind Murphy and during two straight at bats Evans, a dead pull hitter, punch the ball to left field against the shift for doubles. Murphy was on base ahead of him both times.
