Cymatics

Posted 10 years ago by Evan Tishuk

Anyone who wants to get a visual idea of what string theory is (kinda) needs to watch this fascinating video. If you're a huge dork like me, the 28 minute time investment will fly by. I'm ashamed that I've not learned more about cymatics (the study of wave phenomena) given how useful it is in understanding other phenomena. I know I'm merely in the ranks of the scientific hoi polloi -- and I may be talking out my rear -- but cymatics should help to understand fractals, gravity, state changes, convection, turbulence, and other normally boring things. That's cool stuff.

And since I like to reference Bill Hicks whenever possible here it is...

How about a positive LSD story? Wouldn't that be news-worthy, just once -- to base your decision on information rather than scare tactics and superstitions and lies? I think it would be news-worthy... 'Today, a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves... Here's Tom with the weather.'

Very nice to meet you. I am a very deep thinking musician. I believe that this cymatic science holds many treasures. Since every specific volume has a coresponding resonant frequency as you vibrate so you be. Think of what this mean for such things as teleportaion. By generating the correct frequencys you reshape reality. Everything else is secondary. Just my humble opinion...
