The Change Function

"the ultimate success or failure of a new technology can be distilled down to a simple concept: the total perceived pain of adopting a new technology must be less than the total perceived crisis of not having the new technology." Sounds like The Change Function is going to be a good read. I believe the word "perceived" is where marketing comes in.
