A very interesting article that describes the problem smaller online companies are having with buying pay-per-click ads. In the past, pay-per-click was known by a few, innovative companies. Now everyone knows about that form of advertising and the buys are going way up, hence the ROI on ads are going way down. The small guys that pioneered the marketing strategy are having to consider other, new innovative ways to market and compete against the big boys.
